Shred Days
Crime Stoppers and File Thirteen are pleased to announce another Shred Day on April 24th, 2010 being held during Lawtons Trash-Off in the McMahon Parking lot. The Shred Day program is geared towards educating the public about Identity Theft Prevention. File Thirteen will be shredding up to 5 regular size boxes (copy paper boxes), free of charge for residents and Crime Stoppers will be there to answer your questions about fraud prevention.
Shred Day will start at 10 AM and end at 2 PM on Saturday, April 24th and is open to the entire public.
Crime Stoppers will also be there with their “Child ID” program. Please bring your children. This program is designed to help keep your child safe. Crime Stoppers, free of charge, will create an ID card for your child that contains their information, photograph and thumbprint. Parents can keep this card in a safe place in the event the child is lost or abducted.
We are looking forward to doing our part in helping to prevent Identity Theft for our community. Please bring your sensitive information and let us help you protect yourself.
Thanks for your support and we look forward to seeing you and your children there.
(If you are a business or resident with more than 5 boxes of material for shredding, please contact File Thirteen at 580-248-6767.)
